Flower Care Tips
1. Start with a clean vase
Give your vase a good wash before filling it with fresh, cool water. Bacteria can shorten the life of your flowers, so a clean container makes a big difference.
2. Change the water every couple of days
Fresh water = fresh flowers! Change the water every two to three days to keep bacteria at bay.
3. Trim the stems regularly
Every time you change the water, give the stems a fresh snip (about 1–2cm) at an angle. This helps them drink better and keeps them perky for longer.
4. Keep them cool
Display your flowers somewhere out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources like radiators or sunny windowsills. A cool spot will help them last longer.
5. No chemicals needed
Our flowers don’t need commercial flower food — with regular water changes and a little care, they’ll do just fine on their own. If you fancy trying a natural alternative, there are lots of DIY flower food recipes online (a splash of lemon juice or a pinch of sugar and vinegar, for example) — feel free to explore!
6. Take time to enjoy them
Your flowers were grown slowly, with care and purpose — so take a moment each day to pause, notice their colour, breathe in their scent, and enjoy a bit of beauty just for you.
